Ayla’s Oliver Cockcroft, Product Architect, and Rod McLane, Senior Director of Marketing, will be among the industry executives discussing investment and growth opportunities for the smart home and the Internet of Things (IoT) at the 21st-annual CONNECTIONS™: The Premier Connected Home Conference.

Health Connections

At the pre-show research workshop on Tuesday, May 23, “Connected Health and IoT: Technology Innovators and Disruptions,” Oliver will take part in the 2:15 p.m. panel, “Industry Insights: Next Stages of Growth.” The interactive discussion, led by Jennifer Kent, Parks Associates’ director of Research Quality & Product Development, will summarize the day’s main topics and analyzes the future role of connected health in the smart home, including crossover opportunities with other IoT categories as well as the challenges in consumer privacy and data security for sensitive health data.
